The police chief also explained that there will be a field technical team formed by KPK that will be tasked to join an existing team from the police. Currently, he said, police have questioned several people that witnessed the whole event and have a sketch of the attacker.

Earlier this week, police claim that they have three facial sketches of the alleged suspects who attacked Novel Baswedan with acid.

Novel Baswedan was a victim of an acid attack on his way home from a Mosque nearby his residence on Tuesday, April 11. The suspects, allegedly more than one, drove off riding a motorcycle after the attack.

Police have also questioned three suspected individuals responsible for the attack on Novel Baswedan based on photographic evidence and neighbor’s testimony. But they were freed after it was revealed that they had convincing alibi not to be present at the crime scene during the attack.
