Indonesia Introduces Its Coffee, Tea to Egypt

TEMPO.CO, Egypt-West Java Governor, Ahmad Heryawan, introduced Indonesian coffee and tea in Egypt. “We start introducing the products to Egypt, because Egypt has a string bilateral ties with Indonesia,” said Aher.


He added that West Java’s coffee and tea are known as one of the bests in the world. "Now we need to develop and open global market for the two products,” he said.


Aher expects that Indonesian living in Egypt can help market the products.


“As for farmers, the West Java Bank has agreed to support the capital sector,” said Aher.


Indonesian Ambassador for Egypt, Helmy Fauzi, welcomes the motion to introduce the products in Egypt. “We have a lot of Indonesian students n the country. We can encourage them to contribute,” said Helmy. (*)
