New Year`s Eve Celebration Prohibited in Central Aceh

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Central Aceh District called on people in the area to not celebrate New Years Eve on December 31, 2015.


"The absence of New Year 2016s Eve celebration is one of the contents of four points of call set by the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (forkopimda) of Central Aceh," Mustafa Kamal, head of the Central Aceh District public relations division stated on Thursday.


Other points of the forkopimdas call are maintaining the security situation in each environment or location, prohibition of fireworks/ firecrackers sales and the like as well as the prohibition of buying the fireworks/firecrackers and the like.


The appeal was among others signed by head of Central Aceh District, Nasaruddin, deputy head of Central Aceh District, Khairul Asmara, District Military commander Lt.Col Ferry Ismail and chief of Central Aceh District police precinct, Senior Commissioner Dodi Rahmawan.
