TEMPO.CO, Pekanbaru - The Tera and Aqua satellite detected the rise in the number of hot spots in Sumatera into 1,199 hot spots.

The number is a sharp increase from the 111 hot spots on the previous day.

Head of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics of Pekanbaru station reported that Sumatera Selatan has seen most hot spots in which 1045 hot spots were found in the province.

"The hot spots were detected at 5 am,” Sugarin said on Sunday (4/10).

Sugarin also said that hot spots were also found in other areas, including Jambi 96 (hot spots), Bangka Belitung (one hot spot), Riau Islands (one hot spot), and North Sumatera (one point).
