TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to receive a visit from Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi at the Merdeka Palace Friday afternoon, September 4.
In the official schedule released by the Presidential Palace in Jakarta today, the President Al-Sisi will meet President Widodo at 4:15 pm. To welcome Al-Sisi, a state memorial service will be held at Palace.
Both country leaders will have a private meeting, followed by a bilateral meeting between delegations of both countries.
The two presidents will also witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in a number of sectors.
On Friday night, President Joko Widodo will have a state dinner in honor of the Egyptian President's visit.
