TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Pertamina has begun selling Pertalite with octane 90. The trial in Jakarta is concentrated in gas re-filling station in Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta. “Today, Pertalite is sold with promo price,” said Pertamina spokesperson Wianda Pusponegoro on Friday.

Pertalite is sold at Rp8,400 per liter. Wianda did not mention the commercial price that will apply after the trial.

Pertamina appointed 68 gas stations in Jakarta to market Pertalite. The trials in Bandung and Surabaya are conducted in two and 33 gas stations respectively. For fuel needs in toll roads, Pertamina entrusted 33 gas stations in rest areas. Every gas station will receive supply of five kiloliters.

According to Wianda, during the trail, purchase of Pertalite will be restricted, with maximum three liters for two-wheeled vehicles and 10-20 liters for four-wheeled vehicles.
