The body of the slain journalist was found on Saturday at her home in Bojonggede, Bogor, with ligature wound marks on her hands and lying in a pool of blood. She was estimated to have been killed a week ago.
The victim lived alone and was last contacted two weeks ago, her sister Ruwaidah Azizah, who found her said. Her house was left unlocked when she visited the victim on Eid ul-Fitr.
