Jakarta Regional Govt' to Summon Kalibata City Management

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - DKI Jakarta Government plans to summon the manager of Kalibata City apartment complex in relation to the allegation that the apartment is involved in an online prostitution practice.


"We will summon the manager," said Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama at the city hall on Monday, April 27, 2015.


Last Saturday, April 25, 2015, the special women and children crime unit of the Metro Jaya Police revealed an online prostitution practice involving minors. Investigators discovered that the practice has been going for six months and took place at the Kalibata City apartment.


On Saturday, the police managed to secure six victims, including three minors, and have arrested F, 25 years-old, who was suspected to be an accomplice of the mastermind behind the operation.
