TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Unit of Acceleration of Banyu Urip Project of the Upstream Oil and Gas regulatory special task force (SKK Migas) in Bojonegoro Julius Wiratno said that the targeted peak production of oil at Cepu Block of 165,000 barrel per day would be realized on September 2015.

The preparation, he said, is now at the last phase, especially in the infrastructure aspects.

According to Julius, if peak production of oil of 165,000 barrel per day begins on September 2015, it will last for at least for three years with the same amount. Afterwards, he said that production would gradually drop with regular trends.

From peak production from September 2015, it is expected that in 2035, oil production will reach 50,000 barrel per day.

"So, we’ve already estimated the trend,” he told Tempo on Friday, December 5, 3014.

Currently, oil production at Cepu Block amounts to 40,000 barrel per day.

In the meantime, Head of SKK Migas Amien Sunaryadi said that the production of Banyu Urip oil and natural gas at Cepu Block in early December 2014 reaches 92.5 percent.
