TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputy chief Adnan Pandu Praja said the graft case implicating the speaker of Bangkalan Regional Representatives Council (DPRD), Fuad Amin Imron, who is also a Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party politician, involved Rp3-4 billion in bribes.

"We will find out the fixed number at the court," he said in his office on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

Adnan said the KPK had sent investigators to Bangkalan regency on Tuesday, and that more findings in the investigation were likely to surface. "We have found a huge amount of cash in his house," he said.

Fuad is reported to have a number of assets, including several houses in Bangkalan. KPK investigators are still looking into alleged money laundering committed by Fuad.

The KPK, however, could not confirm yet when the bribe transaction took place. The commission is still focusing its investigation on PT Media Karya Sentosa (MKS)—the company that won the gas tender from state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.
