TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bambang Suherman, a passenger of Citilink airlines flying from Balikpapan to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport in Jakarta, said that his flight was delayed earlier today. "We were asked to exit the aircraft after we have boarded," he said on Monday, November 17, 2014.
The plane was scheduled to depart at 8:40 am Western Indonesia Time, but it was suddenly revised to 9:40 am. "Airport authorities announced the change," said Bambang, although no one has confirmed the cause of the delay.
Before he left the aircraft, he saw an F-15 jet in the runway. It is still uncertain whether the fighter jet was causing the delay or not.
Bambang said that the two flights flying to Balikpapan and Yogyakarta were delayed this morning. When asked for confirmation, spokesperson for Angkasa Pura II, Daryanto, said that he still has no information on the cause of the delay.
