President Jokowi Meets with Italian PM

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Saturday, November 15, 2014, had a bilateral talk with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center, Brisbane, Australia.
During the talk, President Jokowi invited Italy to work with Indonesian in the creative industry sectors.
“We’re going to promote cooperation in the creative industry sector, be it that related to the leather products or fashion products,” President Jokowi said on Saturday.
Besides promoting cooperation in the creative industry sector, President Jokowi also hoped that Indonesia could market its palm oil products to Italy.
"We are hoping that our palm oil products will be able to enter the European market,” he said.
After meeting with the Italian Prime Minister, Jokowi also met with several leaders from countries allied under the MIKTA (Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, and Australia).
At 3pm local time, President Jokowi also attended the opening ceremony of the G-20 Summit at Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Center.
