TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Chairul Tanjung, said that the 2015 State Budget Draft (RAPBN) will not burden the new government. "It will not become a burden. The current government must not burden the next government," he said on Friday, August 29, 2014.
According to Chairul, every government has its own burden. "So, no one is allowed to burden each other," he said.
Chairul suggested that if the 2015 RAPBN does not satisfy Jokowi-JK, the next government must make changes. "They can revise the budget on January 2015," he said.
On Wednesday evening, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono met for the first time with president-elect Joko Widodo in Bali. The meeting lasted for two hours. After the meeting, they held a press conference without an interactive session.
"The meeting discussed government agendas, ongoing policies and programs, the 2015 RAPBN and the revised 2014 state budget," said President SBY on Wednesday, August 27, 2014.
