TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of Children Commission, Arist Merdeka Sirait, on Tuesday, received reports from two students' parents of Jakarta International School (JIS) Kindergarten. Their children were strongly believed to be the victims of the sexual harassment done by janitors who were previously proven to have sodomized a student in that school.

"Yesterday (Tuesday) I received a phone call. There were two parents notifying me of their children's sudden behavior changes," said Arist yesterday.

Previously, M (5), a Kindergarten student at Jakarta International School (JIS), was suspected to have been a victim of a sexual harassment by several outsourcing janitorial employees of the school in March. The victim who went to the bathroom to urinate received an indecent treatment which now leads to severe trauma.

Although it has not been concluded that the children were new victims, his party will try to dig further from what the children have to say. "The parents saw a change in attitude in their children and got suspicious. But since they’re confused on how to ask their child, they report it to us," said Arist.

Spokesman for Metro Jaya Police, Comm. Rikwanto, said the Police have yet to be named a new suspect in the matter of sexual harassment to the Kindergarten students of JIS.

The Police are still exploring the harassment case that occured in the school located at Cilandak, Southern Jakarta. "There hasn't been any new suspect; it is still being explored," he wrote on a short text message, Tuesday.
