Trans-Java Railway to be Completed in March

TEMPO.CO , Semarang - Deputy Minister of Trade Bambang Susantono promised that the trans-Java double track railway project will be completed in March as the construction reaches 97 percent completion.
According to Bambang, the government decided to accelerate the construction process to provide an alternative route for distribution of logistics. In some areas such as Semarang, Bojonegoro and several areas close to Surabaya, construction activites is currently ongoing.
"The double track will be operated as soon as the construction completes," Bambang added.
