TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo a.k.a. Jokowi asked the operators of Busway Integrated Bus (BKTB) to enhance their services for the passengers. Moreover, The Jakarta Provincial Government will increase the number of the buses later on.

"The service has to be excellent for the people," said Jokowi in front of hundreds of Transjakarta employees in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. "If there is anything lacking, please fix it immediately."

After a symbolic launch of the new buses, Jokowi then tried one of them. Based on Tempo's report, the BKTB armada is a single red-and-yellow-colored bus just like the buses in Corridor I (Harmoni-Blok M).

The Jakarta Provincial Government provides medium-sized buses for passengers in residential areas. Now there are 30 buses, 18 buses for Pantai Indah Kapuk-Monas route and 12 buses for Kalibata-Tanah abang route.
