Police Hand Over Simulator Findings to KPK
Kamis, 25 April 2013 13:06 WIB
TEMPO.CO , Jakarta -National Police Public Relations director Sr. Comr. Agus Rianto stated that a team of investigators from the police’s criminal detectives division have investigated the alleged graft practices linked to the procurement of driving simulators in 2011. Agus said the result of the investigation had been handed over to the Antigraft Commission (KPK).
Agus released the statement in response to indictments read by KPK prosecutor against the former Traffic Corps chief Insp. Gen. Djoko Susilo during a trial on Tuesday, April 22. Agus said that some of the police’s high-ranking officials mentioned in the indictments have been questioned several times and have provided information for the KPK.
“We follow all process applied by the KPK because so far, the investigators are from the KPK. We report out findings to the KPK,” said Agus at his office on Wednesday, April 24.
