TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bali, best known as the Land of the Gods, has captured the hearts of many visitors for its outstanding natural beauty. Among the enchanting culturally recognized sites is the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, or GWK Cultural Park, in Kuta.

The Garuda Wisnu Kencana is one of the largest statues in Bali, demonstrating the country's magnificent culture to the eyes of global visitors. With a height of 121 meters, the grand statue is a representation of the Hindu God Vishnu riding his Garuda.

Nyoman Nuarta, a renowned Indonesian artist, was commissioned to build the Garuda Wisnu Kencana in 1989. The construction was finally completed after 25 years of arduous process.

Thanks to its captivating charm, the cultural park has attracted many visitors. Here are the seven things to do at Garuda Wisnu Kencana, whether you are a first-time visitor or a returning Bali traveler.
