TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The annual 'Here Comes The Sun Eater' (HCTS) music festival returns for a vibrant celebration on Saturday, July 6, 2024. This year's festivities will take place on the breezy Mertasari Beach in Sanur, Bali, marking the festival's debut on the Island of the Gods.
“We are excited about the preparations for Here Comes The Sun Eater in Bali which will be held on July 6,” Natasha Udu, Head of Operations of Sun Eater, said in a press release received by Tempo on Monday, July 1. “Preparations for the event have been going well so far and we have been working hard to ensure that every detail is perfectly prepared.”
HCTS 2024 Line-Up
HCTS 2024 promises an unforgettable experience with a stellar line-up of up-and-coming talents, including local favorite Milledenials and Dream Pop outfit Drizzly from Sidoarjo, as well as the highly-anticipated Pentas Ajaib collaboration between Hindia and Lomba Sihir, happening for the first time ever in Bali.
“We can't wait to create an unforgettable musical experience for everyone,” Natasha added.
HCTS 2024 Tickets
HCTS 2024 tickets have been on sale since Saturday, April 27, via Traveloka, Whatsapp, or on-site purchases. Choose from two categories: Festival (Rp300,000) for general admission, or VIP (Rp475,000) for an exclusive festival experience.
VIP ticket holders will get several benefits, such as a dedicated entry route, a chance to witness the Pentas Ajaib soundcheck (with 10 lucky attendees getting a meet-and-greet), limited-edition HCTS merchandise, and prime viewing spots near the stage.
Sun Eater's Dedication to the Music Scene
Since its inception in 2019, the HCTS has been a platform for Sun Eater, a music company and record label, to showcase its incredible roster of artists. What began as a showcase in Jakarta, featuring Mothern, Aldrian Risjad, Agatha Pricilla, Mantra Vutura, .Feast, and Hindia, has evolved into a full-fledged festival, bringing music lovers and talented performers together.
In 2022, the Here Comes The Sun Eater music festival successfully adapted to the pandemic by going online on GoPlay, while the 2023 music festival saw its international debut in Malaysia.
