Tourist's Guide to Bali Holiday: From Culinary Tour to Art Markets

Uluwatu Temple, located on a high cliff, also offers extraordinary sea views and exciting Kecak dance performances.

2. Stroll across Campuhan Ridge Walk

Just walking across the Campuhan Ridge Walk can help relieve stress and fatigue. Tourists are spoiled with exotic green views and tranquil rivers while walking across the ridge. 

3. Swim at Sekumpul Waterfall

Behind the lush tropical forest, Sekumpul Waterfall is surrounded by green cliffs. Apart from swimming, you can also enjoy the beauty of rainbows at a fairly close distance.

4. Explore the rice terraces

Tegalalang in Ubud is one of the most iconic and eye-pleasing rice terraces in Bali. Tourists can also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jatiluwih Village, which offers stunning views of vast rice fields and a traditional Balinese irrigation system called Subak.

9. Try Balinese Mixed Rice

The typical Balinese mixed rice or Nasi Campur consists of rice, Balinese anointed vegetables, tum, shredded chicken, anchovies, sate lilit, pindang egg, and sambal matah. Apart from culinary tours, you can take cooking classes in Bali. Many cooking schools offer daily classes where you can learn to make traditional Balinese dishes from fresh ingredients purchased at local markets.

10. Visit historical places

The Bali Museum displays the island’s rich history and culture. Gili Kertha Gosa Park is a legacy of the Klungkung Kingdom which bore typical Balinese architecture. Another historic place in Bali is Tampaksiring Palace, a presidential palace located in a mountainous area, offering beautiful views and fresh air.
