Pertamina Confirms Readiness of Fuel and LPGs for Eid Al-Adha Holiday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Pertamina (Persero) assured the public that there will be adequate energy supply during the Eid al-Adha holiday in 2024. Pertamina's President Director, Nicke Widyawati, stated that the company's energy operations are running smoothly to supply and distribute fuel to the community during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
"Based on our supervision, both the national stock and stocks in Pertamina's marketing regions are in safe conditions, for both fuel and LPG. God willing, we will manage everything well, ensuring a peaceful Eid al-Adha celebration, safe travels, and safe cooking with LPG," said Nicke.
The Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT Pertamina (Persero) conducted visits to various facilities in Jakarta and surrounding areas. This visit was accompanied by the President Director of Subholding Commercial & Trading, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
During the visit, Nicke visited the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (PIEDCC) at Grha Pertamina. She was accompanied by SVP Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center, Ignatius Sigit Pratopo. During her visit, Nicke monitored Pertamina's operations from upstream production, Pertamina refineries' reliability, to the supply and distribution of oil fuel (BBM) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) across Indonesia, using real-time digitalization technology and data centers.
Following this visit, Nicke joined the Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina (Persero) in visiting the Integrated Terminal Jakarta (ITM) located in Plumpang, Tanjung Priok. The visit to ITM Plumpang was attended by Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, Independent Commissioner Condro Kirono, and President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan.
Simon emphasized the importance of these facility visits in ensuring energy availability during the long Eid al-Adha holiday. He stated that Pertamina is committed to maintaining energy availability.
"This visit was made to ensures the readiness of stocks and infrastructure to face Eid al-Adha. We are committed to ensuring energy availability for the community. Alongside this, the Jakarta Terminal is crucial for national energy distribution," said Simon.
Pertamina has confirmed that stocks of BBM and LPG are sufficient to meet the surge in demand during Eid al-Adha. "Our stocks of BBM and LPG are secure. We continue to ensure operational readiness and infrastructure so that our service to the community remains optimal," Simon revealed.
During this visit, Pertamina's Board of Commissioners and Directors expressed appreciation to the entire team for their hard work in ensuring national energy distribution readiness.
The Integrated Terminal Jakarta Plumpang is part of a terminal network comprising the Fuel Terminal Plumpang, Fuel Terminal Tanjung Priok, and LPG Terminal Tanjung Priok. These terminals are integrated to ensure smooth energy distribution in the western part of Java, serving over 1,000 gas stations.
"We reviewed the filling locations and digital systems monitoring all activities. This is crucial for maintaining transparency and preventing deviations," added Simon.
After visiting ITM Plumpang, the visit continued to inspect gas station SPBU 31.143.01 located on Jl Yos Sudarso, Sunter, Jakarta, and Fuel Terminal Cikampek to assess the readiness and distribution of fuel supplies in West Java.
