TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - The Cisadane River flood inundated 1,070 homes in four areas in Tanjung Burung Village, Teluknaga Subdistrict, Tangerang-Banten. Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) of Tangerang Regency showed that 1,333 families with 2,998 lives affected by the disaster. The residents were being evacuated by using rubber boats.

Head of Tangerang BPBD Ujat Sudrajat said the height of flood water inundated people's houses ranging from 10 centimeters to 1 meter.

"The Cisadane River and tidal floods overflowed, causing water to inundate residential areas," Ujat said on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

The flood occurred on Saturday at 6 a.m. The floodwaters continued to affect residential areas until Saturday afternoon.

Currently, about 25 people are sheltering in the old village office and the Al-Barkah mosque. But public facilities and places of worship in Tanjung Burung village are still safe.

"At present, the flood victims need logistics. We have conducted data collection on the number of flood victims and evacuated residents using rubber boats," said Ujat.

The following is the list of neighborhoods that were flooded:

1. Kampung Cirumpak RT/RW 13/07,115 houses,128 families KK, 316 lives.
2. Kampung Cirumpak RT /RW 12/07,100 houses,120 families 321 lives.
3. Kampung Babulak RT/RW 09/05,115 houses,128 families, 316 lives.
4. Kampung Babulak RT/RW 8/4, 15 houses, 14 families, 50 lives.
5. Kampung Tanjung Burung RT/RW 11/06,124 houses,132 families, 306 lives.
6. Kampung Tanjung Burung RT/RW 12/07, 137 houses,175 families, 321 lives.
7. Kampung Tanjung Burung RT/RW 14/07, 112 houses,150 families, 377 lives.
8. Kampung Tanjung Burung RT/RW 15/08, 105 houses,135 families, 375 lives.
9. Kampung Beting RT/RW 16/08, 137 houses,150 families,390 lives.
