KPU Real Count Update: PDIP Leads the Race, PSI Garners 3.13 Percent

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle or PDIP still leads the race in the temporary real count by the General Elections Commission or KPU. What about the other parties?

As of today, March 5, 2024, at around 09:00 a.m., KPU has recorded over 65.89 percent of the total votes from 542,423 polling stations.

PDIP has garnered over 12,610,378 votes, equal to 16.39 percent. The Central Java electoral district contributed the most with 503,268 votes.

Golkar Party holds the second position with 11,581,468 votes or 15.05 percent. East Java electoral district attributed to 289,190 votes so far.

The third position is held by the Gerindra Party with 10,234,244 votes or 13.3 percent. The Prabowo Subianto-led party recorded 318,909 votes in the West Java electoral district.

The next position is held by the National Awakening Party or PKB with 8,876,143 votes, equal to 11.54 percent. The fifth position is held by the NasDem Party with 7,254,171 votes or 9.43 percent.

The Prosperous Justice Party or PKS garnered 5,769,759 votes while the Democratic Party gained over 5,701,904 votes. The next position is held by the National Mandate Party with 5,350,907 votes or 6.95 percent, while the United Development Party garnered over 3,084,815 votes.

The tenth position is held by the Indonesian Solidarity Party or PSI with 2,404,757 or 3.13 percent. The Gelora Party holds the next position with 1,143,622 votes or 1.49 percent.

The twelfth position is held by the Perindo Party with 965,239 votes or 1,25 percent, followed by the Hanura Party with 560,795 votes or 0.73 percent.

The Labor Party holds the next position with 450,771 votes or 0.59 percent, followed by the Ummat Party with 322,965 votes.

The three last positions are held by the Crescent Star Party with 254,780 votes, the Garuda Party with 222,063 votes, and PKN with 160,443 votes.
