TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) held a press conference to respond to the quick count results of the 2024 presidential election on Wednesday afternoon. The press conference was attended by Ganjar-Mahfud team leader Arsjad Rasjid, Deputy for 247 TPN Operation Denon Prawiraatmadja, and spokesperson Tomy Ariyanto.

In response to the initial count of the vote, Arsjad asked Ganjar-Mahfud supporters to wait since the process was still ongoing. "We are hoping to collect evidence of anomalies and fraud if occurred," said Arsjad.

Regarding allegations of election fraud, Arsjad said that the team had received some from volunteers and local communities. Arsjad appreciated the community's efforts in guarding today's voting.

"Thanks to the brave supporters of [Ganjar Pranowo] and [Mahfud Md], some made videos to show what happened at their respective polling stations. And this is an extraordinary effort," he said.

After the five-minute press conference, Arsjad and the Ganjar-Mahfud team left the location soon thereafter without opening a Q&A session.

As of 06:30 p.m. local time, the Cyrus Network survey institute has shown that 90 percent of the votes have been counted. The quick count showed Anies-Muhaimin with 25.04 percent of the vote and Prabowo-Gibran leading with 58.23 percent. Meanwhile, Ganjar-Mahfud placed last at 16.74 percent.

Earlier, Ganjar Pranowo did not say much when asked about the preliminary quick count results. Ganjar said he and his entire team were still on fire. “No struggle is in vain," said Ganjar this afternoon.

As of 04:40 p.m., a quick count of Litbang Kompas with 70 percent of data also showed Prabowo-Gibran leading with 59.07 percent of votes. The data was followed by Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with 24.71 percent. Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md was far behind with just 16.22 percent.

Ganjar claimed he received information and data on election results from all volunteers in Indonesia. The former Governor of Central Java said the data was being processed by his winning team.
