LRT Jabodebek to Extend Operational Hours Starting Tomorrow

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian railways company PT KAI will adjust its operational hours of LRT Jabodebek by extending it to 10:55 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time). This adjustment will be implemented starting January 16-31, 2024.
Manager of Public Relations LRT Jabodebek, Mahendro Trang Bawono said this adjustment is conducted to accommodate the needs of LRT Jabodebek passengers. These additional operational hours will answer the demand of its customers, he said in a statement.
The first departure of LRT Jabodebek from Jatimulya Station is adjusted earlier to 05:22 a.m. WIB, and 05:30 a.m. WIB from Harjamukti Staiton. Meanwhile, the last departure from Dukuh Atas Station will become 10:00 p.m. WIB for the last destination of Jatimulya Station and 10:05 p.m. WIB bound for Harjamukti Station.
Consequently, the scheduled trips have been added for 264 on weekdays and 240 trips on weekends. "Further, the adjustment causes the average time of LRT Jabodebek to be 2 minutes quicker," Mahendro said.
PT KAI hopes that this operational adjustment of LRT Jabodebek will answer the needs of railways customers in Jabodebek as well as increase the volume of LRT Jabodebek passengers.
"By adding more operational time and schedule, we aim to fulfill the need of customers not only those who need secure and comfortable transport, but also on-time, effective, and reliable," he concluded.
