TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The city Light Rail Transit or LRT Jabodebek recorded a hike in passengers on Saturday, Dec. 31, as many New Year’s Eve events were held in a number of areas in Jakarta.

"The number of passengers on New Year’s evening was 34,744 from the beginning of the operating hour until the final departing hour," said the spokesperson for LRT Jabodebek Manager of Public Relations, Mahendro Trang Bawaono, in a written statement to Tempo, Monday, January 1, 2024.
