TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia is offering special price flights in a program dubbed 'Early 2023 Surprise' held from January 5 to 11, 2023.

Garuda offers discounted tickets to 15 percent for various favorite routes. This program also offers additional discounts from partner banks until Rp550,000. The discounted ticket will be valid until the flight period on November 30, 2023.

Garuda Indonesia president director Irfan Setiaputra stated that the program was his company's effort to optimize its role in accelerating the national economy, especially amid the recovery of the tourism industry.

“This program is also the company's optimism of the recovery of national tourism following the growing number of domestic tourists that showed a positive development throughout 2022,” said Irfan in a press release received by Tempo, Saturday, January 7.

For domestic flights, the ticket for Jakarta - Lombok round trip is sold starting at Rp2.3 million, Jakarta - Makassar round trip starting at Rp3 million, Jakarta - Labuan Bajo starting at Rp2.8 million; and Jakarta - Sorong with the price starting at Rp5.6 million.

Other than that, Garuda Indonesia also provides various offers for many other domestic round-trip flights.

Not only domestic flights, the carrier also offers special prices for international routes. They are Jakata - Seoul round trip starting at Rp7.8 million and Bali - Sydney starting at Rp7.9 million. Next, Jakarta - Singapura flight starts at Rp3.7 million; Jakarta - Bangkok starts at Rp4.8 million, Jakarta - Melbourne starts at Rp9.2 million, and many other international routes that are served through Jakarta and Bali.

Customers can get special prices through the transaction at the official Garuda Indonesia website on www.garuda-indonesia.com, the FlyGaruda app, and online travel agents, such as Traveloka and Tiket.com.

Garuda Indonesia hopes that through this program, people will have more options in planning their trips in 2023.
