“As of 5 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2022, there were 296 aftershocks,” said the agency’s acting head of the quake and tsunami center, Daryono, in his Twitter statement.

Until 6 a.m. Sunday, the agency recorded 276 aftershocks, while as of Saturday, there were 259 aftershocks.

The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) detected 321 people died as of Sunday, November 27, 2022. Some of them died after being buried in landslides following the main quake of 5.6 magnitudes.

“As 3 other victims on the list of missing people are found, the number of victims rises to 321,” said the BNPB head Lieutenant General Suharyanto.

The number of missing victims thus decreased from 14 to 11. He also mentioned that the quake severely injured 108 people.
