TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The class I immigration office at Soekarno-Hatta Airport has prepared 12 immigration counters at Terminal 2F following its reoperation after several years of temporary closure.

"The reopening of Terminal 2F is a positive signal of recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia the past few years," said the chief of Soekarno-Hatta immigration office, Muhammad Tito Andrianto, Saturday, October 1.

Tito said that the reopening of Terminal 2F is a positive sign that the international flights at Soekarno-Hatta Airport have fully recovered.

"The 12 immigration counters are ready," he said.

According to Tito, the immigration office has prepared the facilities to support the immigration checking at Terminal 2F, as well as the readiness of the officers and the coordination with various stakeholders at the airport.

Despite Terminal 2F currently only serving for umrah flights in the initial stage of its reoperation, it will not reduce the alert of the immigration officers in conducting the checking. "Everyone entering and exiting Indonesia will go through the checking process according to the prevailing regulation," Tito remarked.

Starting today, the international flights at Terminal 2F will only serve umrah flights from Lion Air with flight numbers JT80-JT86-JT110.
