Maluku Governor Visits Anies Baswedan at Jakarta City Hall

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan welcomed Maluku Governor Murad Ismail at the City Hall today, September 27. The two men signed a Memorandum of Understanding or MoU for cooperation between Bank DKI and Bank Maluku.
Speaking to reporters, Anies said that the collaboration serves as the basis for improving the welfare of the people in Jakarta and Maluku. He said that the Governor of Maluku came with the leaders and officials of Bank Maluku.
"We signed an MoU that will serve as a basis for us to carry out joint activities to improve the welfare and happiness of the people in Jakarta and Maluku," Anies said.
In today's meeting, the governor added, he and Murad discussed various potentials that could be developed by the two provinces. He hopes that after the signing of the MoU, both parties will immediately execute the cooperation.
Anies did not explain in detail what types of cooperation would be carried out. He only gave a general picture, such as cooperation in food supplies.
"We would like to extend our gratitude to the Governor for coming here. Hopefully, this will be a good start for cooperation between Jakarta and Maluku, both G2G and P2P (People to People)," Anies said.
