TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto on Monday said that Indonesia is aiming at meeting its 90 percent digital financial inclusion by the year 2024, which he believed can be achieved by strengthening the synergy between government institutions at the national and the regional levels.

“Through the partnership, we can get through and overcome this challenge,” said Airlangga in Bali on Monday, July 11, 2022, during the National Synergy Movement for Digital Economy and Finance event in Nusa Dua, Bali, Antaranews reported.

The minister said that digitization needs to be maintained and synergized across nations. He also hoped that the G20 Presidency in Indonesia this year will help build the momentum to strengthen the economy and synergy, especially the synergy between countries in cementing ASEAN and global connectivity.

“Especially in the trade sector and financial services digitization, payment between countries, and inter-tax excise regulations, as well as inter-country import duties,” said the minister, adding that digitization will be accelerated in the transportation sector, social aid, pre-employment social card, up to the Indonesian-made products pride movement or BBI.
