TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) launched a sting operation or OTT and arrested Bogor Regent Ade Yasin on Tuesday, April 27, 2022.

“That’s true. The KPK carried out raids last night until this morning in West Java areas,” said the acting spokesman of the anti-graft body, Ali Fikri, on Wednesday, April 27.

Other than the regent, KPK also nabbed a number of people from the West Java Regional Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and other parties.

Ali shortly explained that the sting operation was conducted because of alleged corruption practices, including bribery.

KPK is still examining the arrested parties within 1×24 hours,” he said, adding that it was aimed at confirming the allegation and determining the legal status of the arrested parties.
