Depok District Court on Lockdown after 17 Employees Tested Positive for Covid-19

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Depok District Court has put a lockdown on all services and activities for five working days, from January 25 to 31. The decision came after 17 of its employees were exposed to COVID-19.
The Depok District Court PR officer, Ahmad Fadil, said in a statement that the closure is to prevent the disease from spreading further. Services will resume on February 2.
After coordinating with the Bandung High Court, the leaders of the Depok District Court decided to put a local lockdown to all services and activities.
"We have carried out antigen testing on all judges, state civil apparatus and temps at the Depok District Court. The results showed 17 people were confirmed positive. The 17 employees are now on self-isolation," Fadil said on Tuesday, January 25, Antara reported.
The information was disseminated to the public so that everyone, including litigants, families of the defendants, as well as advocates and public prosecutors (JPU) know and understand it.
The Depok District Court claims to consistently try to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in its environment. As a public service agency, it has an obligation to minimize the possibility that the virus would spread to court service users.
