KPK Ranks 26th in Its Integrity Assessment Survey

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is ranked 26th out of 57 non-state ministries in its own integrity assessment survey (SPI), which measures corruption risks in each assessed institution.

The survey assesses 7 aspects, namely the procurement of items and services, integrity in duty, budget management, transparency, influence trading, human resources management, and anti-corruption dissemination.

KPK Chairperson Firli Bahuri said that his office surveyed 98 ministries and agencies, 34 provincial governments, 508 regencies and cities, and interviewed 255,100 people.

“I might claim this to possibly be the largest ever done,” he said in a speech prior to presenting the results at the KPK headquarters on December 23.

Of the 57 non-state ministry institutions, Bank Indonesia scored the highest with 89.69, followed by the National Resilience Agency scoring 88.05 and State Administration Agency with 97.40, in second and third place respctively.

The Finance Supervisory Agency ranked 4th with 87.23, and the fifth went to the Food and Drugs Monitoring Agency which scored 86.91. KPK scored 82.88 in the survey with an integrity score on the same level as the National Border Management Agency. The Supreme Court was ranked 28th with the score of 82.72.
