Task Force Reports 360 New COVID-19 Daily Cases

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian COVID-19 task force on Friday at noon (12:00 Western Indonesia Time|WIB) reported 360 additional daily confirmed cases after testing a total of 272,704 specimens. These figures increased the national COVID-19 tally to 4,252,705.

Jakarta has become the region reporting the highest number of daily positive cases with 97 cases, followed by 68 cases from West Java, 38 cases from West Kalimantan, and 34 cases from Central Java.

The number of COVID-19 recoveries also grew by 516 with a total national recovery of 4,100,837.

In total, there are 143,714 deaths nationwide with five new deaths reported today. Three Indonesian regions reported new deaths with Jakarta and West Java reporting two new cases each and East Java with one new death.
