84,161,759 Indonesians Have Received Second Dose of Covid-19 Vaccine: Ministry

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Yesterday on the 14th of November 2021, data from the Ministry of Health stated that as many as 84,161,759 Indonesian citizens have received the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

Compared to the previous day, that number has increased by 742,673 people. As for the first dose, an increase of 573,155 people make the total of 130,283,345 recipients of the first dose.

The third dose is only for health workers, and has an increase of 4.865 and makes the total of third dose recipients to 1,189,235. The government targeted 208.265.720 people to be vaccinated.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) previously has supported the vaccination for children aged 6 to 11 at school.

"We always support the government in handling Covid-19, among them is through expanding the vaccination," said Kemendikbudristek Acting Officer of Cooperation and Public Relations, Anang Ristanto.

According to him, vaccinations of teachers and students aged 12-18 have been done as a condition to hold a limited face-to-face learning (PTM). This was done in order to create a new practice of limited PTM with a strict health protocol.
