TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Co-founder and CEO of PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa or Gojek, Kevin Aluwi, stated that his company is not only committed to boost business in Indonesia but also strengthen it abroad by making new innovations that are continuously being developed.

The Southeast Asia expansion, Kevin said, is Gojek's first attempt in growing its business. In its 11th year, the ride-hailing app continuously develops online transportation services in Singapore and Vietnam.

"Our development in the last quarters in Singapore is astonishing and we are preparing to launch Gojek in Vietnam," said Kevin in an online conference on Wednesday, October 27.

According to Kevin, the company will keep innovating to develop its products, add transportation mode, and establish more partnerships. GoFood in particular, is aiming to boost more small restaurants to be digitalized.

In logistics, it plans to establish a business to business (B2B) partnership that can help other companies. "Logistics is a field with a high potential so we need to invest," he claimed.

The company has launched three innovations in transportation, food and logistic fields. Those innovations are hoped to give the best experiences to customers, be eco-friendly and help business owners.

Among those innovations are GoFood Plus service which will give cheaper prices if customers subscribe, and Multiple Order service to help people order foods from different restaurants in one go.

In the transportation field, Gojek targeted 5,000 vehicles will be ready for use in Phase 1. As for the logistics, GoSend will be developed with an integration application interface (API) which integrates GoSend services with partner platforms to offer reliable, quick and easy delivery.
