TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bogor Botanical Gardens has been reopened for public starting today, after the closure due to the enforcement of community mobility restriction or PPKM. But it is limited for those who want to exercise.
The recreational park was also closed due to the rising number of Covid-19 transmission in the City of Bogor. "Bogor Botanical Garden is opened for those who want to exercise by abiding by the prevailing health protocols and not gather in crowd," said the management on its Instagram post @kebunraya_id, Saturday, August 21.
They also announced that the visitors can only visit in a group of maximum 4 people. It also said that the reopening is not for picnic purpose. "Bogor Botanical Garden opens every day at 07:00-17:00 through access gate 1 and 3," as stated on the Instagram announcement.
Bogor Botanical Garden temporarily closed since July 3, following the enforcement of emergency PPKM in Java-Bali. After over a month, the management reopened the tourist destination for exercising purpose starting today.
