TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A number of airliners, namely Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, AirAsia, and Lion Air, is offering discounts and promo in the commemoration of 76th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day. The promotion is not only ticket price discount but also discount for PCR and antigen test, as well as free luggage service.

1. Garuda Indonesia

The state-owned airliner offers various promo on the Independence Day. Those include Business Class ticket discount to 76 percent, special price for Economy Class ticket at Rp760.000, and a Rp760,000 ticket price cut from the bank that collaborates with the national flag carrier.

2. Citilink

Citilink offers free PCR or antigen swab tests for its customers. There is also ticket discounts until 20 percent plus 10 percent, and additional 17 percent for customers purchasing the ticket with a credit or debit card of a bank that partners with the low-cost carrier. The Garuda subsidiary also offers a Rp76,000 discount for Citisport.

3. AirAsia

Another low-cost carrier AirAsia through the AirAsia Beauty offers the Merdeka Sale on Indonesia's Indepedence Day. They give discounts to 76 percent for all the local products available on AirAsia Beauty website. The promo will last until August 20.

Customers can also benefit from flash sale discount with additional price cut of 45 percent worth Rp76,000 by using promo code “MERDEKA45” for all products with minimum purchase Rp150,000. Moreover, the shipping cost is free for Jakarta Greater Area or Jabodetabek, West Java, Surabaya, and Denpasar.

4. Lion Air

In commemorating the 76th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day, Lion Air offers free luggage until 20kg for all domestic flights.
