TEMPO.CO, Bogor - Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) in Bogor, West Java, is holding an Instagram photo competition at Taman Recycling or Recycling Park as a campaign to recycle used goods to commemorate Global Recycling Day.

“[For the competition,] visitors are asked to capture their best photos in the Taman Recycle area which will take place on March 18 to 30, 2021,” said TSI Bogor spokesperson Yulius H Suprihardo in Cisarua, Sunday, March 21.

According to him, the conservation institute located in the south of Bogor Regency established a recycling park as a contribution to creating a greener future.

The park is situated in an area adjacent to the composting and processing area of elephant dung into paper.

“Taman Safari participates in the Global Recycling Day, which is celebrated annually every March 18, in accordance with this year's theme of Recycling Heroes,” Yulius explained.

He reiterated that participants are required to follow the park’s Instagram account @taman-safari and @tsi_safarilodges and upload their best photos on Instagram by tagging both accounts and five other people with interesting captions under the theme of recycling.

Three winners will be announced on April 3, 2021, via the official Instagram of Taman Safari Bogor. They will get a voucher to stay at the Safari Lodge, entrance tickets to Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor, a dinner package, and several other prizes.

“This competition aims to increase public awareness to express more concern for and pay attention to the environment,” Yulius concluded.
