TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bank Jago (IDX: ARTO) will hold a right issue in March. President director Kharim Indra Gupta Siregar is targeting to generate Rp7 trillion in proceeds from the rights offering.

Therefore, the company's equity will rise to Rp8 triliun, which would qualify it as a BUKU III bank.

Speaking at his office on Friday, February 26, Kharim said that 97 percent of the proceeds from the rights issue will be used for business expansions, including partnerships with digital ecosystems and financing disbursement.

Two percent will be used to develop digital infrastructure and the remaining one percent will go to human resource development.

Bank Jago's vice president director Arief Harris Tandjung said the bank will issue 3 billion units of new shares, each priced at Rp2,350 per share.
