TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria asked Jakarta residents to be patient and not worry about whether they will get the Covid-19 vaccine. He ensured that all residents of Jakarta will get their vaccine shot eventually, gradually.
"The important thing is for everyone to be patient. In time, everyone will have the same opportunity to be vaccinated, according to the existing terms and conditions," Riza said in Jakarta, Monday night, February 15.
Riza was also informed that in addition to health workers, there are now 10,000 traders from 153 markets in Jakarta who have registered as recipients of the Covid-19 vaccine.
He added that the city government has prepared health facilities for the implementation of the second phase of vaccination for this public service.
The deputy governor also reminded that Jakarta residents who refuse to be vaccinated will be charged with violating the local rule, and will be fined Rp5 million.
