Wisma Atlet Covid-19 Patients Up by 128

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta's Covid-19 emergency hospital, Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, took in 128 new patients today, January 13. The hospital is currently treating 4,318 Covid-19 patients consisting of 2,232 men and 2,086 women.

Since March 23, the hospital has discharged 41,575 coronavirus patients after they recovered. The hospital has recorded 25 deaths so far.

"[The hospital] had registered 46,484 patients with 41,575 recoveries," says Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, Wednesday.

Among the patients in Wisma Atlet, five are inmates of KPK Detainment Center.

At noon today, the inmates were transferred to Wisma Atlet for treatment and isolation. The hospital now has 19 inmates being treated for Covid-19.
