Jakarta Wisma Atlet Covid-19 Hospital Patients Increase to 4,306

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The number of Covid-19 patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, increased on Wednesday, December 16. As of this morning, 4.306 Covid-19 patients are treated in the makeshift hospital.

Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, spokesman of the emergency hospital, said that there are 3,243 hospitalized patients in towers 4, 6, and 7. The number increased by 63 people from Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the number of people in self-isolation at tower 5 increased by 59 to total at 1.063.

Since March 23, Wisma Atlet's towers 4, 6, and 7 have taken in a total of 32,964 people with Covid-19. Of the number 29,721 were discharged after recovering, 516 referred to other hospitals, and nine passed away.

Meanwhile, self-isolation flats in tower 5 have accommodated 20,836 Covid-19 patients since September 15. To date, 19,017 have recovered and two were referred to other health facilities.
