Wisma Atlet Hospital Currently Treating 3,553 People

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The number of patients treated for COVID-19 in North Jakarta’s Wisma Atlet emergency hospital up to Wednesday morning reached 3,553 people. 

According to the hospital’s spokesperson, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, the patients are treated in the hospital’s towers 4, 6, 7, and the hospital’s self isolation flat at tower 5. 

During a visit by President Jokowi, the hospital revealed that it can accommodate 24,000 patients in total but has opened 3,000 rooms. The facilities in this emergency hospital also include tower 5 that accommodates people undergoing self-isolation.

In total, the Wisma Atlet emergency hospital has treated 30,915 patients with 27,726 recoveries. Meanwhile, its isolation units have accommodated 20,195 people in total.
