KPK Nabs Mayor of Cimahi over Alleged Graft

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Friday, Nov. 27, reported that they had arrested the Cimahi Mayor, Ajay Muhammad Priatna, in a sting operation or OTT.

Mayor Ajay Priatna is believed to have been entangled in the corruption of the Bunda Hospital (RS Bunda) project in Cimahi.

This sting operation was confirmed by KPK deputy Nurul Ghufron on November 27. "Yes, correct," he said.

Based on information received by Tempo, the anti-graft agency confiscated Rp400 million in cash. The total graft that is believed to be collected from this project is Rp3.2 billion.

Tempo is still attempting to reach KPK and parties related to this for confirmation.
