TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta public health office (Dinkes) announced that it is searching to recruit 1,545 volunteers to conduct contact tracing, or contact tracers, and 10 data managers to strengthen the city’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The chosen contact tracers and data officials will work until December and are required to be present at community health centers (Puskesmas) everyday for 8-hours,” citing the public health office’s Instagram post.

Those who are interested to register as volunteers may send their applications until November 4th at 23:59 western Indonesia time (WIB), at the latest, to these websites:

- http://bit.ly/PendaftaranTenagaTracerCovid19DKI for contact tracers.

- http://bit.ly/PendaftaranDataManagerCovid19DKI for data managers.

The Jakarta public health department stated it will announce the selection results on November 6th or visit the official website dinkes.jakarta.go.id for further information.

The Jakarta administration, in September this year, had recruited 1,173 medical workers from numerous disciplines to improve the city’s COVID-19 pandemic mitigation.
