TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Corporate communications head of Ancol Dreamland Park (Taman Impian Jaya Ancol) Rika Lestari said Friday the amusement park would limit the number of its visitors during the long weekend holidays from October 28-30, 2020.
Lestari announced that Ancol’s online registration would automatically close as soon as bookings had reached 25 percent of its total capacity to prevent an overload of visitations during the national holidays. She acknowledged that the park management would anticipate the large demands.
She said Ancol would implement the restrictions that were overseen under the government’s transitional Large-scale Social Restriction (PSBB) set of regulations, which sought to fight the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Ancol will also mobilize COVID-19 task force personnel patrolling the theme park, ensuring that visitors heed the COVID-19 restrictions such as using face masks, physical distancing, and washing hands regularly.
