TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Institute of Research, Education and Information of Social and Economic Affairs (LP3ES) associate, Tomi Satryatomo, said that the public discussion revolving around the passing of the omnibus job creation law saw the public express their anger towards two political parties; PDIP and Golkar.

“We can see that expressions of extraordinary anger had been aimed at PDIP and Golkar,” said Tomi in Sunday’s webinar.

The LP3ES media analysis from October 3 to October 13 monitored discussions emerging in Twitter and 400 nasional and regional online mass media surrounding the passing of the omnibus law as October 3 was the first phase of the law’s passing while October 13 is the announcement of the law’s final draft.

The analysis had monitored discussions related to the omnibus law, job creation law, the Democrat Party, PDIP, Golkar, and PKS.

Tomi Satryatomo claims talks about PDIP were dominated by strong anger and followed by surprise and fear while Golkar involved expressions representing the aforementioned, but added with trust issues.

“Netizens were greatly angered by these two political parties,” said the LP3ES associate.
