TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The national COVID-19 task force spokesperson, Wiku Adisasmito, on Thursday announced that the government is currently developing a health passport that will assist the government’s active contact tracing attempts.
The project is led by the Ministry of Research and Technology.
“The health passport will later help trace COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. This program is a collaboration between the COVID-19 task force and the research and technology ministry,” Wiku announced in a virtual press conference on September 24.
He further called for members of the public to play their role in suppressing the number of active cases as the government continues to boost the number of testings, contact tracing , and treatments.
